Storytelling & Worldbuilding

From product to IP foundation

Tasked with taking a project from idea to marketable product, I always strive to create products and experiences with the user in mind. From taking the creative lead of whole teams to getting hands-on with practical tasks, I'm used to delivering the creative vision and answering the practical, tactical and strategical questions of 'how', 'what', 'when' and 'why'.

Hands-on in every step from concept creation to final polish.

Delivering the creative vision & helping clients answer "why?"

Priotitizing to ensure the best creative design within scope.

Creating ethical and age-appropriate design for marketable products.

"At Funday, Anders has worked as a game designer & creative lead on some of Funday's largest productions, where he has used his extensive knowledge in world building, story writing and play design to create outstanding game experiences.

With his impressive knowledge of games and game mechanics, he has proved to be able to pick and chose between directions and possibilities, while knowing when to kill a darling. On a team, it comes naturally to Anders to take on a leading role and uphold the vision throughout a production, which boosts morale and keeps up high ambitions."

An overall vision for the work I do...

Across all the projects I've worked on, I've always tried to build experiences on a foundation of four core pillars:

Any product should be consistent within narrative, user experience, communication style and what the product offers the user. This is the best way to create understandable and relatable products, which the user feels able to master. By creating product consistency and embracing design elements that are already known and recognizable to the user, we are able to create products that become more credible and accessible.

However, only by looking to the end-users, we can create truly relevant products as any great product must be relevant to both the stakeholders and the users alike. Finally, we should always strive to pair this consistency, credibility and relevance with great craftsmanship in order to create products that are truly engaging.
